Strange Times We Live In

These are strange times we live in
Today, in this world.
Where people have to fight to keep a Book in their country
Where people have to die to maintain a thing humans need: Freedom.
Where people have to die to keep a page of the Bible.

These are strange times we live in,
Where technology is everywhere; it's impossible to escape it
Where the only thing that is advertised is sexual immorality
Where there are people only living for themselves, not others.

These are strange times we live in,
Where thousands of people are dying of lack of food, while their leaders are dying on gluttony
Where children are being abandoned by their own parents, because they are different
Where there is no more love, because God is love.

These are strange times we live in,
Where the church is just a comfort, not a place to grow; a place where you go just to say you're a Christian.
Where churches are divided over silly things that seem big; or big things that seem silly.
Where God seems no longer present.

These are strange times we live in,
Where lakes and rivers and streams are turning blood red for various reasons
Where thousands of birds drop dead out of the skies
Where the dead become alive again.

These are strange times we live in.... sounds like the End Times.
